Jess Peixoto
Jess Peixoto is the President of the Brazilian Institute of Debating, the Head Coach of the Brazilian WSDC Team, and a political consultant. She has worked on Presidential and Gubernatorial campaigns, preparing candidates for debates and formulating governance and electoral strategies. Currently, she is the Chief of Communications and a Political Analyst of the Brazilian National Congress.
She hosted a podcast interviewing distinguished Brazilian figures, including politicians and businesspersons. Jess stands as the most successful Brazilian competitive debater ever, winning over 30 tournaments. Her true passion lives in nurturing debate in Brazilian schools through free workshops, lectures, and classes to make debate accessible to all and cultivate a new generation of Brazilian leaders.

Gabriel Guia
Gabriel Guia is a Board Member of the Brazilian Institute of Debate and the President of the Portuguese International Debate Association, the Head Coach of the Portuguese National Debate Squad, and a public policy consultant and advocate. He has worked for private and international organizations providing intensive research on legislative and political framework on several countries and cities. Gabriel holds a postgraduate degree in Public Management for Educational Policies at Singularidades Institute, in which he was awarded a scholarship from the Lemann Foundation. He was also a graduate student in Economics at Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and holds a degree magna cum laude in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Gabriel is passionate about politics, education and debate. He is a multiple-time champion of debating tournaments, including the Brazilian National, and worked for the Education Department of the State of Bahia as a project analyst at the Common Core Implementation Program, in partnership between the State of Bahia, the Lemann Foundation and Motriz (formerly Vetor Brasil).
